Last year my blog was a sad and lonely place. I was in the last leg of my pregnancy while at the same time enjoying one of my busiest years since closing the doors of my large commercial studio so that I could focus and pursue photographing in a way that I loved again. 2018 was a wild and crazy whirlwind, and as a one woman show I had to put blogging on the back burner.
Winter was an odd one here in Spokane this year. We seemed to have the whole thing over the course of a few weeks. Sitting here looking out my large window watching the snow melt, I am glad that I didn't have the chance to get my blogging done last year. I am getting to re-visit all my work from last year while becoming more and more excited for 2019! The sun, flowers and beautiful skies are all right around the corner!
Last year was a year with many new faces. I met a lot of families for the first time, and I am so excited to see some of their names on my calendar already for this year.
To get my blog rolling, I thought I would highlight one of my favorite families that I have been photographing for about 5 years now. This is also one of my very favorite locations that puts a smile on my face. If you would like portraits in a location like this contact me yesterday! Because this beautiful scenery comes and goes fast...as do the seasons of the Pacific Northwest.
Thank you to the W family for not only being ridiculously adorable, but for allowing me to be a small part of your family. This may be just one session in the sea of sessions out there but each one is so special and meaningful to me!
